When Monte's approached Mind Expressions to create their "look and feel" we were really excited. Creating a look and feel for a casual upscale restaurant in Faribault was a huge design challenge, but something we knew we could be successful with. While meeting with the clients to see who their target market was, what they wanted to say to people, and the style they were looking for it was clear. Monte's needed something elegant, not over stuffy, but still fun. They needed to cater to a very diverse crowd that knows what they want, and they can afford to get it.

The solution is an entree menu and lunch "brochures" that create a fun inviting feeling, but still have the flourishes and sophistication to let you know what type of restaurant Monte's is. We added little fun elements like the "peek-a-boo" on the cover that hints about the charcoal grill and a historical timeline of the building for people to peruse. The client has gained many compliments on the new design of their menu, praise for the interesting history included with the menu and higher revenues since the inception of their look and feel.

Mind Expressions has continued to build their look and feel into everything from table topper advertising to a website that generates 5-10 reservations a week.
