Owatonna Dental came to Mind Expressions with a design challenge. As an established business in the Owatonna, MN area they had a logo that was very dated, and did not do much to help them with creating a feeling for their clients. They wanted to change from their current "lips" logo to a striking, bold and different corporate brand identity. They were looking to appeal to a broad family audience but also reflect something different than other businesses in their field. The solution came from their address. They are located on "oak" street and that image has many connotations that have been formed from other logos and marketing campaigns. They decided to play off that idea and Mind Expressions established their new identity with an easily identifiable symbol. This logo features an oak leaf design that gives clients a solid feeling about this established dental company. It is also visually bold easy to read and the colors reflected the "medical" feeling they were looking for.
